Last night Paris was alive with electrifying energy as THE MAZE, Saucony’s exclusive high-intensity relay race, brought together 13 running crews from across the globe for an unforgettable night of competition and community to celebrate the launch of the new Saucony Endorphin Elite 2, the brand’s next-generation super shoe.

Set in a multi-storey car park in République, the event pushed limits, tested endurance and celebrated the collective spirit of running.

The competition was followed by an after-party at the car park, where runners, friends and family celebrated an evening of grit, camaraderie and cultural exchange, true to Saucony’s mantra ‘RUN AS ONE’.

The event allowed the crews to test the Endorphin Elite 2 and other Endorphin styles. The Endorphin line is Saucony’s performance racing offering, and the Endorphin Elite 2 is its pinnacle.

The Endorphin Elite 2 helped the crews ‘OUTRUN LIMITS’, the perfect strapline for the latest evolution of the elite favourite. The revolutionary super shoe features all-new IncrediRUN™ foam. This cutting-edge technology delivers exceptional energy return and cushioning, allowing runners to unlock their full potential. Designed with input from real runners who shape the scene, the Endorphin Elite 2 weighs 199g and incorporates a full-length carbon plate, a lightweight breathable upper and SpeedRoll™ Technology to propel runners forward effortlessly.

THE MAZE showcased epic racing and highlighted the global community of runners pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. As Saucony continues to innovate, events like these serve as a testament to the brand’s commitment to speed, style and the ever-growing culture of community running.

More than an elite competition, THE MAZE was a celebration of the friendships, dedication and inclusive spirit that define the crews who lace up and ‘RUN AS ONE’, no matter where they are from in the world.

The 13 incredible running crews were as follows:

Milano Track Fanatics (Italy), Collision (France), Your Friendly Runners (UK), VMA (France), Peckham Pacers (UK), Sunday Run Club (Netherlands), Mad og Kaffe Run (Denmark), Club Aero Boys Club (Denmark), Mediocre Run Club (Norway), Views Run Club (France), Frolik (Spain), Cato (Germany), Dixon Runners (USA).
