Meta have now announced the next evolution: Oakley Meta Vanguard, a new line of Performance AI glasses designed for athletes who don’t just push the limits, they create new ones.
Oakley Meta Vanguard combines Oakley’s signature sport-driven design DNA with next-generation AI technology to give athletes deeper insights into their performance so they can own the moment and relive their biggest wins from the road, trail, or slopes. The line will launch in a new global campaign featuring Team Oakley Athletes, including world-class cyclist Mark Cavendish, bringing together Oakley’s legacy and Meta’s cutting-edge AI.
These glasses are designed for performance in a world of demanding sports, where equipment has to keep up with the high speeds, rough conditions, and extreme action. With seamless fitness integration, these glasses work with apps including Strava and Garmin to track real-time performance as well as having a battery life of up to nine hours of use and six hours of continuous audio playback, the battery life can last an entire marathon run or century ride. The included charging case provides an additional 36 hours, while quick-charge delivers 50% in 20 minutes, keeping you moving without pause.
A hands-free POV camera helps you document your marathon moments from your point of view without touching a button. The 12-megapixel camera with a 122-degree wide-angle lens records up to 3K resolution, with slow motion, hyperlapse, and adjustable stabilization for pro-level playback and analysis.
The open-ear speakers are engineered to cut through noise of any environment, from busy streets to high-speed trails. A five-microphone array reduces wind interference for calls, messages, and voice commands, so your performance is never interrupted.
