NNormal, the sports equipment brand have published a study of an investigation related to its bestseller shoe, the Tomir 02.

One of NNormals core values is durability so they developed a particular study which has concluded that the Tomir 02 lasts more than 800 km.

7,000 runners, representing many different types of athletes were involved in the analysis with an average result of 823 km under standard trail conditions. This distance was calculated for runners weighing between 65 kg and 80 kg on moderate trail terrain.

The evaluation assesses, in five different layers, the wear of the outsole, midsole and the upper, ensuring good levels of grip, cushioning and holding respectively.

In addition, Spanish IESE Business School has closely followed this exploration, validating the calculating methodology, which includes terrain and weight variables.

NNormal are a young and ambitious company that are committed these sorts of studies to help to continue improving their products but also realising that every extra kilometer in a Tomir 02 means fewer discarded shoes, lower consumption, and a lighter environmental footprint.

NNormal also offer a Lifetime Repair Guarantee, which offers free minor repairs on all their shoes, handled by expert local cobblers in the Vibram-certified network. Plus, the Vibram Resoling Program extends the life of well-worn shoes with Vibram’s high-performance Zegalite rubber.
