New Balance

During one of the city’s major running weekends in 2026, New Balance will present a three-day experiential space bringing together running, food, community, and culture through a distinctly Copenhagen lens.

Located at Fælledvej 12, Runners Table will explore the relationship between performance and preparation, and the rituals that surround running. Taking inspiration from Copenhagen’s New Nordic food tradition, the experience will look at how preparation for performance can be translated through food, creating an experience designed to fuel runners for race day and everyday movement.

The Run House is an experiential platform designed to create dialogue between New Balance and running cities through their culture, history, and communities. With each activation, the ambition is to create a globally coherent, distinctly New Balance experience that finds meaningful local roots.

In Copenhagen, that means interpreting the city’s food culture through the lens of running and performance. Seasonal ingredients, local chefs, community voices, and sports nutrition expertise come together to create a space where culinary craft meets performance craft, recognising that what runners put on their plates can be just as considered as the product they wear.

At the centre of the experience is Runners Table, a dining concept created to bring the running community together around food, fuel, and shared experience. Throughout the weekend, runners will have the opportunity to take a seat at the table, with dedicated lunch and dinner seatings designed around race preparation and fuelling. Runners can sign up for a seat at Runners Table through Villette’s booking page.

Developed with Copenhagen-based culinary destination Villette, Runners Table will explore how performance-minded food can be both purposeful and delicious. Head chef Agnese Negrini will create menus using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, bringing Villette’s approach to Copenhagen’s running community.

Opened in 2023 by Jesper Emil Norrie and Martin Ho, Villette is more than a restaurant; it is a space and platform for knowledge sharing, rooted in Copenhagen’s local food culture and regenerative agriculture. Set within a historic courtyard in Nørrebro, Villette works closely with small-scale local farms. For Runners Table, Agnese Negrini brings this approach to the menu, using seasonal ingredients to create food that not only tastes good, but is designed to fuel the body and support performance.

Alongside Villette, New Balance is partnering with 9TSEVEN, Women Who Move, and the wider Copenhagen running community to shape the experience around the people who make the city’s running culture what it is. 9TSEVEN has been a key community partner for New Balance in the Nordics for the past two years, bringing together performance and community and creating spaces where running extends beyond sport into culture, creativity, and connection.

Through Runners Table, these local voices help create an experience rooted in Copenhagen’s running scene, connecting the rituals of running with the city’s food, people, and culture.

Always On

Runner’s Café
Open throughout the weekend, the Runner’s Café will offer coffee, refreshments, juices, gels, and homemade performance-minded snacks, giving runners a place to refuel, meet, and spend time before and after their runs.

Runners Table offers a distinctly Copenhagen take on running culture: one where performance is notonly about the miles, but about the preparation, rituals, people, and places that make those miles possible. By bringing Copenhagen’s culinary craft into the world of running, the Run House creates a local expression of performance that feels both purposeful and culturally relevant.

With Runners Table, the Run House celebrates the idea that runners have taste, and that fuelling forperformance can be as considered, social, and culturally rich as the city in which you run.
