10 February 2025

Leading global performance running lifestyle brand, Saucony have partnered with Uniform Display, a revered hub of fashion documentation, to mark the return of the iconic Trainer 80. This collaboration highlights a shared passion for innovation, culture and style, merging Saucony’s heritage with Uniform Display’s unparalleled connection to London’s youth culture.
The event marks the rebirth of the classic Trainer 80, a shoe that revolutionised the running world with its groundbreaking high-density EVA foam and responsive design. Today, the Trainer 80 returns with its retro appeal and a modern edge, balancing Saucony’s legacy of innovation with street-ready style.
Held at House Party, an innovative concept space in Soho, London, guests were invited into a reimagined home, with each of the seven floors capturing the essence of ‘80s nostalgia.
Saucony-inspired household groceries, such as tinned goods, cereal boxes, and fridge items reflected the brand’s creative twist on retro themes.
In addition, bespoke Saucony pizza characters and exclusive graphics elevated the event’s food and drink offerings, with designs featured on the bar menus, drink cups, and retro-inspired posters scattered throughout the venue.
The basement featured a vibrant mix of in-house props, including a neon shoe sign, graphic bar mats, fridge magnets and keg covers, further bringing the ‘80s-inspired aesthetic to life.
Guests were invited into the gifting suite to receive their own pair of Trainer 80 shoes in a custom shoe box, while a van wrapped in Trainer 80 shoe graphics offered free pick-ups to attend the event in style and comfort.
Live entertainment set the tone for the evening, with a DJ lineup including Cesta, Glade Marie, RBC, Laelo Black, Reek0, Izc0, Kelvin Crash, and Dare E Freaker, alongside MCs Java and Boy Dee.The Trainer 80 is available now in a series of vibrant and classic colourways at select retailers and saucony.com.
